An editorial in the Sunday edition of the Barre and Montpelier Times Argus called upon Vermont Governor James Douglas to sign into law, or at least allow to become law, the recent health reform legislation that was passed by both chambers of the Vermont Legislature. If the legislation becomes law the State would be required to create plans for establishing a universal health care system based on human rights principles.
