Montana Groups Call on Commissioner to Curb Insurers’ Abuses
The Montana Human Rights Network submitted an open letter, signed by nine allied organizations, to Insurance Commissioner Lindeen, calling for a strong Medical Loss Ratio, as well as rate review and approval authority.
They asked the Commissioner to take "proactive action to strengthen the state of Montana’s ability to regulate private insurance companies operating in the public market place in this state. We urge you to give top priority to the interests of patients and policyholders – ordinary Montanans who have no choice but to enroll in private insurance plans."
