Candidates Attend Workers’ Center Forum

BENNINGTON — Candidates for the Vermont House attended a public forum Wednesday to answer specific questions posed by the forum’s lead sponsor, the Vermont Workers’ Center.

The questions, designed to derive answers based on the group’s core causes, began with two simple yes or no questions. Do the candidates believe the state has an obligation to ensure that all Vermont residents can meet fundamental human needs, and would they help develop a state budget that helps meet the needs of all Vermonters and promotes equity?
