On Valentine’s Day: Jordan Downs Tenants Demand Accountability, asking HACLA “Where Is The Love?”

On Valentine’s Day, Jordan Downs residents, and housing, health & environmental advocates, will hold a press conference to call on Governor Brown of California, to intervene in the Jordan Downs contamination controversy. Residents will post ‘Danger’ signs on the walls of the contaminated 'factory site', warning residents and the wider community of the health risks associated with contamination present on that site.  In support of their call for immediate intervention from Governor Brown and the California Environmental Protection Agency (Cal EPA), tenants will submit a petition with over 200 Jordan Downs'  residents' signatures.
