This past weekend marked the 5th annual Healthcare is a Human Right Collaborative convening. Put People First! PA and Anthracite Unite hosted the Vermont Workers Center, the Southern Maine Workers Center and NESRI. All the groups present are working on healthcare is a human right campaigns as part of a transformative organizing model designed to unite the working class and strike back at the ruling class. We gathered in Hazleton, PA to strategize and share base building, leadership and organizing techniques and lessons. Twenty-five members of PPF-PA from across the state participated. We also held a public event at the Hazleton Integration Project Community Center to share this organizing model and strategy with the community.
