New Video: Respect Garment Workers!

Screen Shot 2021-03-05 at 5.20.49 PM

Today, the Worker-driven Social Responsibility Network and the Clean Clothes Campaign collaborated for the launch of an exciting new video starring performer and comedian Kristina Wong!

On International Women’s Day, we are standing together to demand that clothing retailers pay the workers who make their clothes a living wage. Globally, the majority of garment workers are women of color, and they are subjected to discrimination, harassment, unsafe working conditions, gender-based violence, and low pay. Promises are not enough. Major retailers must commit to verifiable, worker-driven solutions. Watch the video today and help us spread the word by retweeting at this link or sharing on facebook or instagram.
