Majelia Ampadu has joined Partners for Dignity & Rights as our New Development Coordinator
We are thrilled to welcome Majelia Ampadu as our new development coordinator for Partners for Dignity & Rights.
Majelia is passionate about exploring the intersections of climate justice, social justice, and human health. Previously working in science communications and non-profit development, she managed partnerships with NGOs such as the WHO, USAID, and Conservation International, while condensing scientific findings into digestible media for the public and donors. Majelia also has a background in youth outreach, education, & social media organizing and was selected as one of thirty members for National Geographic’s #GenGeo Ocean Ambassador Program.
Majelia received a B.S. from Cornell University in Interdisciplinary studies with a focus on Neurobiology and Behavior and double minors in Biological Sciences and Design & Environmental Analysis.
Outside of work, Majelia is an adult figure skater and concert violinist.
