DSC Week of Action on School Pushout October 2010
The Dignity in Schools Campaign (DSC) organized actions around the country during the week of October 11-17, 2010 to expose the pushout crisis in our nation’s schools and advocate for the human right of every student to a quality education and to be treated with dignity.
The DSC is a national coalition of parents, students, advocates and educators from around the country united to challenge the systemic problem of pushout in our nation’s schools. The DSC advocates for the human right of every child to a quality education and to be treated with dignity, and promotes local and national alternatives to a culture of zero-tolerance, punishment and removal.
