NESRI partner Teachers Unite has released a five minute trailer for their new documentary, Growing Fairness.

The film centers around the movement to use restorative justice practices in schools, rather than harsh punishments which often do more harm than good to students. Focusing on public schools in New York City and Oakland, CA, Growing Fairness examines the historical and political context of this struggle, as well as the passionate educators and youth who are determined to transform their schools.
