NESRI’s partner organization, the Los Angeles Community Action Network (LA-CAN), and other human rights groups gathered in Los Angeles to launch the Homeless Bill of Rights campaign to stop the criminalization of poverty and homelessness in Los Angeles. Following successful campaigns in Illinois, Rhode Island, and Connecticut, organizers and leaders across the west coast are building power and rallying to secure equal rights for everyone.
