In October, PBS’ Tavis Smiley Show aired a five episode Poverty Tour series on the growing problem of poverty in America and the movement to fight back. The episodes premiered Media Mobilizing Project documentaries featuring testimony from and about NESRI allies, including Chicago Anti-Eviction Campaign, United Workers of Baltimore, Coalition of Immokalee Workers and Vermont Workers’ Center. Key episodes are:
