The denial of health care to millions of people and rising health care costs are a national crisis. There is a growing national movement for universal, publicly financed health care that guarantees health care for all. More and more candidates running for office support universal, publicly financed health care, but health care policy is a complicated topic that can be difficult to discuss. This tool offers language for talking about health care. The first two pages provide overall framing of the issues, and the following pages provide more detailed talking points and supporting evidence.
