The Dignity in Schools Campaign’s (DSC) 4th annual National Week of Action Against School Pushout kicks off with events in eight cities. Throughout the week, youth, parents and educators in 42 cities and 24 states will push back against zero-tolerance discipline and call for positive approaches that create safe and supportive environments for learning. In 2012, DSC and the Opportunity to Learn Campaign launched the Solutions Not Suspensions Initiative, a call for a moratorium on the practice of out-of-school suspensions.
