On Dec. 6, 2009, more than 500 farmworkers and their allies took to the streets of Lakeland, FL — hometown of Publix Super Markets, Inc. — to demonstrate their support for the Campaign for Fair Food and to call on the food retailer to address human rights abuses in its tomato supply chain.
